शैक्षणिक योग्यता :-

   उम्मीदवार के पास केंद्र या राज्य के अधिनियम द्वारा निगमित किसी भी विश्वविद्यालय की डिग्री होनी चाहिए भारत में विधानमंडल या संसद के अधिनियम द्वारा स्थापित या घोषित अन्य शैक्षणिक संस्थान
विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग अधिनियम, 1956 की धारा 3 के तहत एक विश्वविद्यालय या विदेशी माना जाएगा
केंद्र सरकार द्वारा समय-समय पर अनुमोदित विश्वविद्यालय या समकक्ष योग्यता
योग्यता।

Age limit

(i)    A candidate should have completed the minimum age of 21 years.
(ii)  The upper age limit for unreserved category is 35 years.
(iii)  As per resolution memo no. 29 dated-04.01.2021 of Personnel, Administrative Reforms &
Rajbhasha Department, Govt. of Jharkhand, the upper age limit for Economically Weaker
Section (EWS) is 35 years.
(iv)   The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable as below.

        एक उम्मीदवार जिसने झारखंड सरकार के तहत कम से कम 03 (तीन) वर्ष की       नियमित सेवा प्रदान की है, उसे ऊपरी आयु सीमा में 5 वर्ष की छूट दी जाएगी।

   1.  अत्यंत पिछड़ा वर्ग (अनुलग्नक-I)/पिछड़ा वर्ग से संबंधित उम्मीदवार
(अनुलग्नक-II), महिला, अनुसूचित जाति/अनुसूचित जनजाति/आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर वर्ग
(ईडब्ल्यूएस) श्रेणी और किसी अन्य खंड जैसे बेंचमार्क वाले व्यक्ति के अंतर्गत भी कवर किया गया है
विकलांगता, भूतपूर्व सैनिक या झारखंड संयुक्त सिविल सेवा की धारा 6 (ii) (बी)।
परीक्षा नियम, 2021 दोनों के तहत संचयी आयु में छूट देने के पात्र होंगे
श्रेणियाँ।

   2.  झारखंड कंबाइंड के नियम 6 (ii) के तहत आयु-छूट के प्रावधान के बावजूद
सिविल सेवा परीक्षा नियम, 2021 बेंचमार्क विकलांगता वाले व्यक्तियों के उम्मीदवार
(पीडब्ल्यूबीडी) को नियुक्ति के लिए तभी पात्र माना जाएगा यदि वह (ऐसी शारीरिक जांच के बाद)
जैसा कि सरकार या नियुक्ति प्राधिकारी, जैसा भी मामला हो, निर्धारित कर सकता है) के रूप में परीक्षा है
संबंधित के लिए शारीरिक एवं चिकित्सीय मानकों की आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करते हुए पाया गया
बेंचमार्क विकलांगता वाले व्यक्तियों के उम्मीदवारों को सेवाएं/पद आवंटित किए जाएंगे
सरकार।

Number of Attempts:-

There shall be no limitation on number of attempts, if a candidate is eligible otherwise.

PLAN OF EXAMINATION :-

1.    The Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Examination comprises of two successive
   stages:-
   (a)    Combined Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination (Objective Type) for the selection
   of candidates for the Main (Written) Examination; and
   (b)    Combined Civil Services (Main) Examination (Written and Interview) for the
   selection of candidates for the various services and posts.
2.  Preliminary Examination :-
   The examination shall comprise of two compulsory papers of 200 marks each, namely, General
   Studies – I and General Studies – II
   (i)    All questions of compulsory papers will be of objective type (Multiple Choice
   Question) and each paper will be of 2 hours duration.
   (ii)    The question papers will be set both in Hindi and English
   (iii)    Selection list for the Main (Written) Examination shall be prepared on the basis of total
   marks obtained in both the papers. However, the minimum qualifying marks will be as
   prescribed under Rule 17(i) of The Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Examination
   (2nd Amendment) Rules, 2023.
   (iv)    There shall be a selection list for admission to the Main Examination which shall be
   prepared in the following manner:
   Candidates will be arranged by the Commission in order of merit. An initial
   selection list shall first be prepared which shall contain candidates equal to
   approximately 15 times, the total number of advertised vacancies. The marks obtained
   by the last candidate shall be considered as the UNR cutoff.
   If the representation of any of the reserved categories (horizontal or vertical) is
   less than 15 times the advertised vacancies of that category, then the cut off for the
   same shall be reduced till adequate representation (15 times the advertised vacancies) is
   ensured.
3. All candidates getting marks equal to their respective category cut off shall be
   included in the selection list for admission to the main examination.
   All candidates in the selection list have to meet the minimum qualifying standard
   as mentioned in sub-Rule 17(i) of The Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Examination
   (2nd Amendment) Rules, 2023.
